The 2025 daylily season brought some really interesting advances to the broken colored daylily category. More and more I am seeing teeth on a lot of the seedlings and intros the hybridizers are bringing out. And for the first time (if you look at the top picture, Yenok's Magic Trick) there is more than one color in the streaking. A huge breakthrough if you ask me. I am very impressed with all these hybridizer's programs featured. Here are some more of the fascinating broken colored daylilies from this past year:

WOW! As usual I am blown away by all the hybridizer's advancements. Disclaimer: All the above photos are property of each hybridizer and use without prior consent is prohibited. Soooo, the 2025 season had a couple breakthroughs for me as well. I had a good season. Any time I can see all of my bloom without the deer getting inside my garden is a success. There was still some minor deer damage, but I think I may have made a discovery about something very common that repels them and I hope to share that information in a later segment. I don't have as much time as I used to, to post things, but I will do my best. Work takes up a lot of my time and I'm exhausted on the weekends. I'll do my best.
