The summer of 2022 had a lot of really exciting new seedlings in the garden. This past year was a very difficult year. The city I live in (Mayfield Heights, Ohio) said my temporary deer fencing in the front yard was against the city codes. You are not allowed to put up fencing in your front yard. I had to go to a total of 5 meetings to try and fight this and unfortunately lost. For the past 2 years I have had no deer damage in the area that was protected by the fencing. I really need to move out to a more rural location, but my wife and I are going to stay here for at least 2 or 3 more years. I will try and figure out a new plan of attack for the 2023 season that is within what the city allows. Anyway, I hope to do some interviews and some cool features for the 2022-2023 season on this blog, so check back in. Here are a few more seedlings from this past summer:
