Daylily videos for the summer

Well another blog season comes to an end since we are getting closer to the time of year I have to put up deer netting and I get too busy in the garden to do any blogging.  Pictured above is my friend, Jacob Henry from Alabama.  Jacob has put together another great group of videos over the past 6 or 7 months and the ones below are some of my favorites.  You can subscribe to Jacob's YouTube channel and I would encourage you to do so, since his videos continue to get better and better.  Jacob really has a gift for putting together great garden videos.  He is the Steven Spielberg of daylily videos.  LOL!  Who knows....maybe Jacob will be a great movie director in the future!  The very first video is of Bob Faulkner and friends.  We lost our good friend Bob to Covid this past winter and Jacob put together some wonderful videos from visiting Bob's last summer. Some friends will be taking over Bob's garden so that his work will be saved and hopefully introduced in the future.  So take a look at each of these videos and I hope you have a great summer.

I couldn't resist posting a video I shot from the previous summer.  I tried to pick one of the better ones.  This was filmed on July 16th, 2020.  Enjoy!

Well, there you go!  Some really lovely gardens. Special thanks to Jacob Henry for letting me share his lovely videos.   I'm excited for this coming bloom season.  I am going down to Florida in the near future to visit some gardens there.  Covid has made it impossible to travel, but I got my two shots in my arm and my Dad lives near Orlando, so this seems like a good year to visit. Have some great segment ideas for next season and of course the very popular interviews.  Happy gardening to you all.
