Tom Polston seedling. Awesome!
Living in the great state of Ohio.....which I consider to be the toothy daylily capital of the United States....it wouldn't be fair if I didn't do a segment on toothy daylilies. Gathering these photos has been a lot of fun because you can really see how these hybridizers are pushing the envelope forward with great breakthroughs.Let's start out with John Kulpa and Chad Bush who are from Michigan. Here are some of the best from them this past year:
Ann Marie Kulpa (John Kulpa future) To be named for his mother

That little fox above looks like he could have some nice teeth. (Picture courtesy of Jennie Sivyer) Thank you to all the hybridizers above for sharing their photographs. All the photos are courtesy of each hybridizer and use without prior consent is prohibited. So it looks like the interviews are starting to fall into place and our next one will be from Mike Georges up in Canada. I got to meet Mike when he visited this past summer and I grow several of his introductions here, which do really well. Looking forward to sharing his interview with you. Stay tuned.
